Carrie J. Fletcher, JD, MSc
I work with law firms and in-house legal teams around the world to create practical solutions to meet their leadership, management, and strategy goals. My bespoke leadership programming centers on the development of core individual, team, and organizational leadership skills. My strategy work focuses on designing, clarifying, and implementing team, departmental, and organizational strategies.
In addition to working with private clients, I serve as the Head of Faculty for the UK-based O Shaped project, where we are working to change the legal profession for the better through a client-led, people-centered approach to building and strengthening law firm/client relationships. I also collaborate with London Business School’s Leadership Institute, Harvard Law School Executive Education (HLSEE), and Cambridge University’s Møller Institute on leadership-related research and teaching.
I’m the immediate past Executive Director of HLSEE; before that, I directed curriculum design and client coaching at a Harvard Business School-based ed-tech startup. I began my career as an attorney and spent 18 years in major US-based law firms, both on the practicing side and in learning and development roles, with an emphasis on leadership development and collaboration.
